With close to twenty-years of experience, there is not much I haven't seen or solved but I continually am renewed by each project and challenge. I believe its equal parts experience and creativity that leads to solutions that not only solve the brief, drive sales and win awards.  
I'm a born leader who told his mother in first grade I would live in Chicago. After attending college in Chicago, I worked at traditional, retail and shopper marketing agencies all creating a unique point-of-view. I believe that there is a solution for every problem and through collaboration we will get to breakthrough creative. 
Being hands-on keeps me fresh and as an art director I love not only managing creative teams but also creating work. Whether it be design, art direction or a presentation, I like to roll-up my sleeves and get the work done.

Creative leader on two shopper marketing accounts. I get the privilege of selling nutrition to parents of both children and pets. My team and I create omni channel programs that run at every major retailer utilizing a test-and-learn, data first strategy. Name the tactic, we've done it. And if we haven't we will figure it out.

Creative Director and Vice President of Kreber design and photo studio responsible for guidance, direction and mentoring of thirty-five full-time staff and a nationwide freelance roster. Growing Kreber from a production studio to a premier retail marketing agency was a tough challenge and I laid the groundwork for their current success. I spent my days working on new business, creative leadership and art directing. Ask me about the time I moved to Columbus to run an agency.

Seven years of retail marketing, I saw and touched just about every client and project at Schawk. As a young Creative Director, I worked to create new business and art direct work that won both new business and awards. I got to be part of a start-up, Anthem. I learned shopper marketing. I traveled the globe. I loved this time in creative as digital was really taking hold and I was part of creating solutions for Global and U.S. brands that pioneered how brands go to market today.

Firestar Communications | Art Director | Real Estate Developments
One year break from Schawk that I loved! Working at Firestar gave me some perspective outside of retail and allowed for a young art director to create brands from scratch. It was a busy twelve months that taught me the basics of digital and challenged me in creative ways I never knew possible. Too bad for the housing crisis.

My first major art director role at Schawk, formerly known as Ambrosi. This role taught me how to work like I do today. Many late nights and weekends led to creating some outstanding work that helped win awards and new business.

This was the best job a college student could ever have. This gave me first hand knowledge of how the industry works and the ability to create contacts and work with major names in the advertising industry.  I loved every minute of this role and it really helped teach me about the power of good work in a sea of mediocrity.
